Education and Credentials:

Donalyn Gillette is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Georgia. She graduated from Clark Atlanta University with both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Donalyn has over 12 years of experience counseling individuals and families in various settings, including residential treatment facilities, prisons, hospital emergency rooms, behavioral health hospitals, and crisis call centers. She has extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. She has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Anger Management.

Donalyn adopts an eclectic approach with her clients to address their specific needs. She begins by completing a thorough assessment to understand the client and their needs/concerns. She integrates cognitive, behavioral, and person-centered approaches to help clients work toward interpersonal growth. Her goal with each client is to increase self-awareness and empower clients to achieve their personal goals.
