Education and Credentials:

Gianna Martini is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. She has worked with children and their families for over 25 years in a variety of settings including residential facilities, schools, in-home settings, hospitals, private practice and most recently in an intensive hospitalization program. Gianna received her under graduate degree in Psychology from Montclair State University in New Jersey and her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in New York where she specialized in children and their families.

Approach:

Gianna’s approach to treatment has always been very eclectic, meeting the client where they are currently in their life and using the therapeutic method that is most useful for that individual. Gianna does not have a “one size fits all” approach. She strives to identify what will best lead the client to realizing emotional growth and mental healing and support them as they walk towards their goals.

Gianna has been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral as well as other treatment modalities. Her goal is to help her clients achieve their personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.
