Credentials and Professional Experience
Meghan L. Michalewicz is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. She has over 9 years of experience in the field. Meghan is a Master Addiction Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor and is a member of the American Counseling Association. She has worked in the in home counseling setting with adolescents, adults and families providing mental health and substance abuse services. She has worked in an intensive outpatient program with Fulton County Accountability Court working with felony defendants and homeless population. Meghan has worked inpatient settings of Ridgeview institute as the Program Therapist for the Detox Unit. Meghan received a bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of West Georgia and a Masters from Argosy University in Community Counseling.
Meghan individuals the counseling approach needed for each individual. Her counseling approach is integral humanistic often pulling from multiple approaches and theories of therapy. Meghan believes in a holistic and, goal orientated, and social orientated approach in working with clients to work through their triggers, trauma and self-actualization.
